A Snowy Owl coming in for a landing at Boundary Bay, BC

Three Snowy Owls find a nice place to rest and socialize for the day. As you can tell by their mostly closed eyes, they were content to drift in and out of sleep. Taken with a Canon 1D Mk !V, a 600mm prime lens and a doubler.
