Perhaps in anticipation of Halloween, more likely in response to the many PM's received for more right brained images, herewith the results of another night sitting in my SUV peering through a rain soaked window in anticipation of what can be found with an active imagination and some creative post processing. Blood Moon over Richmond, BC.
September 28th was the date for a Blood Moon in the Greater Vancouver Area. The sky was rather murky, but eventually the Moon rose high enough for a better shot. After a few tweaks and some colour splashes, this is what it became. I call it simply "In Flight". The power of the mind...
Title of Art - "Wave Action" - A sculpture brought to Steveston (Richmond, BC) for the 2010 Bienalle and mounted near the netrance to the Steveston Fishing fleet harbour. Regretfully the city could not come up with the $500,000.00 needed to buy the sculpture so it was shipped to it's new home in California in March, 2012.
